Di is currently the General Manager at Project Gateway as well as the Manager of the Donor Marketing and Public Relations Department. Project Gateway currently runs projects focusing on care, education and empowerment. Their target market is the “poorest of the poor”.

Zai Miller

Zai initially qualified as a social worker and worked in many different fields of social work.

In 1980 she took up the position of Director of SANCA in Pietermaritzburg, but spent more time doing fundraising and PR. After she moved to Johannesburg in 1986 she completed a PR Diploma and focused more on Fundraising and PR and Marketing for NGO's.

Zai has had a vast experience in all aspects of fundraising from Corporates, mail appeals, bequests and events. She has been involved with SAIF for more than a decade.

Pam is the Advocacy & Resource Facilitator at St Francis Hospice – Eastern Cape and is a member of the regional hospice team, HPCA Interim Reference Group & National Advocacy Team.

She also is a member of the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber: Health and Welfare Task Team.

Oliver Quambusch

Oliver Quambusch has been involved in charitable causes since the age of 11 when he sold donated goods at flea markets in his hometowj Wuppertal, Germany to raise funds people with cerebral palsy.

Throughout a highly successful career in hotel management, training, recruitment & fashion marketing, he never forgot his passion for the under-privileged. Oliver moved to Johannesburg in 2005 to run 3 orphanages as Volunteer General Manager. 
In July 2008 he established ‘Hotel Hope’ an NGO dedicated to helping vulnerable children, pregnant mothers in distress, the unemployed and the untrained. Hotel Hope also operates the ‘Hope Charity Shop’ in Melville to raise income for its various projects.

Michael is currently Executive Director of Pietermaritzburg District and Community Chest which in 2012/2013 will fundraise R3m for 64 Community Impact Partners covering 9 sectors which are General Child And Family Welfare, Elderly Care and Care Of The Homeless, Community Services/Poverty Alleviation/HIV & AIDS, Care of The Disabled, Early Childhood Development, Education Learners with Special Needs, Health Care Support Services, Crime Prevention, Crime Prevention.

In over 51 years the PMB Community Chest has donated over R37m to nearly 1,300 organizations.

Colin is currently CEO for GivenGain Foundation South Africa, a web based service provider that currently serves over 500 non-profit organisations around the world. He is a specialist in the fields of relationship management, loyalty programmes, social enterprise, social media and online fundraising and serves on the committee of the SAIF's branch in the Western Cape.
