conference on Fund Raising. I cannot fault any speaker as they were
all dynamic and entertaining in their own ways. I have come away

With apologies that I’ve not been in touch until just now to say
thank you, I hope that you both (and Jan, and George and so many
others!) have had time to let down and relax before getting right
back to work post-conference!
The conference – as I’ve told all colleagues and friends I’ve
encountered since returning – was outstanding; each and every
individual I had the pleasure of meeting could not have been nicer;
and the energy level amongst the fundraisers and CSI professionals

Well it was ‘over like a wedding’ or so the saying goes, and I don’t
know about you, but I have really missed everyone.
I loved everything about the convention and I know Jane and Margot
feel the same way. We have thanked the hotel and their staff, they
were really awesome from the accommodation to the food (far too
much, on huge diet).
The speakers were inspiring, informative and good fun, above all we
realized that we are doing ‘stuff’ right, so our confidence in
fundraising has taken a very necessary boost. Everything seemed to
run so smoothly (I don’t need to know what went on behind the
scenes) but from my view point it was very professional without
being ‘stuffy’.

presenters were also incredible. Alan Hutson did some pro bono work
with me and he was incredibly insightful and helped me present some

of her work. Norma Galafassi was interesting and presented very
useful tips for my work too. Although I have not mentioned everyone
I think all things considered I would give a big 10 for the
conference presenters and organisers.
