The 9^th Biennial Convention presented an exciting opportunity to discuss practical
 South African focused strategies for making waves for successful fundraising, renewing friendships
 and building new networks with colleagues from South Africa and abroad. 
 World renowned International and local speakers challenged the way you thought about fundraising

Protea Karridene Beach Hotel was the Venue for the
"Making Waves" Convention

The day before the Convention, the Committee were hard at work
with preparations to welcome the delegates

... the day dawned on the 9th Biennial SAIF Convention 

Delegates from around South Africa,
Neighbouring countries and abroad were welcomed to the
9th Biennial Convention

And a host of International and Local Speakers followed
to share their knowledge

But always time for refreshments and networking

Of course, there always is time for parties!
 - like the Hawaiian Evening

.... and the dinner at the Moya uShaka Pier Restaurant

After a most enjoyable evening it was back
to the Hotel to prepare for the last day of the Convention

The Concluding session was presented by Brad Sadler
with his presentation "Who let the dogs out" dealing with White Collar Crime

and then it was time to bid a sad farewell to all,
pack the bags and head on home

And so the sun sets on the incredibly successful 2009 Convention
